Community Manager

THE SANDBOX Goleta, a coworking space, shared office and event venue, is searching for a dynamic individual to join our team in Goleta. This charismatic and energetic individual will assist in developing our community, fostering existing memberships, act as the on site host in the mornings, and help run events for our members and the community.
This is a part-time opportunity.
Compensation: $20 per hour and an All Access Coworking Membership
Responsibilities

– Work with THE SANDBOX team to manage day to day operations at our Goleta location
– Provide a daily positive attitude and connect with our members and guests
– Assist with new member orientations
– Give tours of THE SANDBOX facilities to new members
– Engage in the Goleta and Santa Barbara community to help promote THE SANDBOX
– Keep the facilities tidy and neat and manage daily facility upkeep
– Develop partnerships with other local organizations
– Organize monthly SANDBOX programs and events
– Help to manage social media accounts
– Work onsite during the day (mornings to start) as a host to answer member and visitor questions
– Help to organize monthly get togethers for SANDBOX members to build the community building
– Engage the local community by networking & occasional attending outside events representing THE SANDBOX
Required Experience

– Experience in a role that relied on communication to customers
– A vibrant personality and ability to connect with people
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Customer service and sales experience a plus
– An interest in entrepreneurship and business
