2025 SANDBOX Holidays and Closures

The SANDBOX roughly follows the local school schedules.

We are closed and unstaffed on the following days.  No day passes or meeting rooms will be available during these days unless you have worked at THE SANDBOX before, and are knowledgeable about how to get in and out of the building.   Members with offices and full time memberships have access to the building as usual.

Presidents Day – February 17

Memorial Day – May 26

Juneteenth –  June 19

Independence Day – July 4

Labor Day – September 1

Indigenous Peoples Day – October 13

Veterans Day – November 11

Thanksgiving / Native American Heritage Days – November 27 and 28

Winter Break – December 22 to Dec 31

Winter Break continued – January 1 and 2, 2026

THE SANDBOX will re-open and staff will return on Jan 5, 2026

We may also add additional days as needed and we encourage you to celebrate culture and get outside and enjoy the outdoors when you can.
